MerchantZoo is a fully managed online affiliate marketing system. As affiliate marketers ourselves, we decided to create a system that features quality programs that pay well, pay monthly, and pay on time. We prefer it that way, and we know other affiliates prefer it that way, too.
As they say, "You get what you pay for," and most affiliate marketers know the frustrations of dealing with large affiliate programs that don't offer much help and most of all, take forever to pay you. You help make them tons of money by referring sales and leads, and they wait months to pay you. We decided that wasn't cool, and thus was born the MerchantZoo.
A new way to track
MerchantZoo is unique in the sense that it uses the AffiliateMask tracking system which does not require the use of affiliate IDs in links from the affiliate sites to the merchant sites. AffiliateMask is a referrer-based tracking system that enables affiliates to have a search engine friendly way of linking to the merchant site. Recently, it has been discussed that some of the major search engines are considering penalizing affiliate websites because they generally are just duplicate content, and thus make for bad search results. With AffiliateMask, that is no longer a concern because there are no Affiliate IDs in the URL, just regular links.
AffiliateMask also allows us to track deep links from any page on an affiliate's site to any page on a merchant's site. The flexibility is great for affiliates who want more options than just linking to the home page and hoping the visitor can navigate through the merchant site to complete the desired call to action.
MerchantZoo is the exclusive provider of AffiliateMask.
What's the deal with the penguin? We honestly can offer no real explanation for the penguin! The idea came about because we wanted a mascot that had some relationship to the whole "zoo" concept. A penguin dragging a bag of money all the way to the bank seemed like a good idea, so we went with it.
