MerchantZoo does not track the identity or contact information of end users. MerchantZoo does not collect end users' names, physical addresses, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, credit card numbers, social security numbers, or any other information that can be used to identify a specific person, nor does it match such information with the anonymous profiles. MerchantZoo's technology records IP addresses, but does not associate any IP address with an organization name.
MerchantZoo does not sell or rent individually identifiable end user data. MerchantZoo may use anonymous end user data to create and disclose aggregate reports which reflect the collective browsing and purchasing activities of groups of anonymous end users, and if applicable to detect suspect activity.
MerchantZoo Merchants and MerchantZoo Affiliates may receive reports showing the aggregate number of times an end user visits a site or a page on a site, as well as the volume of purchases resulting from such promotions.
At present, all information processing occurs in the United States.
Merchant and Affiliate Privacy
Because MerchantZoo serves as the data interchange between Merchants, Affiliates, and Customers, it necessarily has access to a great deal of information about Merchants, Affiliates, and Customers, including contact information such as name, mailing address, email address, and phone number, as well as the performance data for their marketing and promotional programs. To ensure the privacy of all parties, MerchantZoo maintains the following policies:
MerchantZoo does not share personally identifiable information about Merchants, Affiliates, or Customers, nor information about a Merchant's or Affiliate's performance with any parties except to the Merchant or Affiliate to whom the information pertains. MerchantZoo records and retains such information in the application process and uses such data to perform some or all of the MerchantZoo services (such as sales reporting) for the particular party.
Security Measures
MerchantZoo employs industry standard security measures to ensure the security of all data. MerchantZoo data processing occurs in facilities that employ multiple safeguards to protect system data. All Merchant, Affiliate, and Customer data is protected through case-sensitive, alphanumeric passwords. These passwords are stored on an encrypted database. Access to these passwords is limited to the Merchant,
Affiliate that created the accounts, and to designated MerchantZoo employees who require system level access in order to perform their jobs. MerchantZoo routinely evaluates its data security practices to identify security threats or opportunities for improvement.
Merchant and Affiliate Websites
While MerchantZoo encourages Merchants and Affiliates to adopt responsible approaches to online marketing, MerchantZoo is not responsible for the information practices of Merchants or their Affiliates or for the manner in which they use MerchantZoo's services. Merchants and Affiliates may collect information from or about Internet users, including personal information. The collection, use, and disclosure of information by Customers and Partners are subject to their respective privacy policies. Merchants' and Affiliates' privacy policies may differ from MerchantZoo's policy.
MerchantZoo's Website
MerchantZoo does not gather any personally identifiable information on its website www.merchantzoo.com, other than in "sign up" forms for the various programs. MerchantZoo does not sell or share any personally identifiable Customer information with third parties. MerchantZoo may request personal information from interested parties, such as name, email address, and mailing address. All personally identifying information gathered through the MerchantZoo website is provided entirely on a voluntary basis, and resulting communications continue only so long as the outside party so desires. The contact information form allows interested parties to request more information about MerchantZoo, and we use the contact information from those forms to reach these interested parties.
Like most standard website servers, we use log files. This includes Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, and date/time stamp. We use the information to analyze site usage, administer the site, understand usage and navigation trends in aggregate, and determine the relevance of content. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

MerchantZoo will never intentionally send unsolicited e-mail messages often referred to as "spam." MerchantZoo educates and encourages its Merchants and Affiliates to uphold the same standards.

All e-mail sent by MerchantZoo on behalf of our Merchants must have an enclosed opt-out. MerchantZoo advises its Merchants and Affiliates that spam is both inappropriate and ineffective. Recipients of any MerchantZoo

Third Party Disclosures
MerchantZoo relies on various third parties in the operation of its business.
